Planting trees and planning treks: working with our partner in Cameroon
As part of Green Ink's CSR efforts, we work with Green Care, an environment and development NGO based in Cameroon's Bamenda Highlands. For many years, Green Care has planted trees in their community forests to offset our annual carbon emissions. And in 2016, we built a new website to help Green Care showcase its many programmes and projects.
The website will provide essential information to Green Care's many international partners, as well as the volunteers that regularly head out to Cameroon to take part in their activities. It will also help to boost their tourism initiatives, which include birdwatching and trekking in this beautiful corner of West Africa.
Early-career Excellence: The World Social Science Fellows Programme
The ISSC's recent World Social Science programme was a three-year series of seminars and networking events that brought together early-career professionals from a range of academic disciplines.
We worked with ISSC to edit, design and layout a summary programme report, which captures the main outcome from each of the events and highlights how the programme helped the selected fellows to further their careers. We produced a printed report and an interactive online version. ISSC also asked us to produce a report documenting all the fellows who took part in the programme.
“We are very pleased with the final result. Thanks for all your help and patience with this project.” – Lizzie Sayer, 2016 World Social Science Report Manager & Communications Officer, International Social Science Council.
Cap-Net UNDP Phase III completion report
Cap-Net UNDP, an international network for capacity development in sustainable water management, recently completed 13 years of working in the water sector. They asked us to develop a PDF report to highlight their activities during Phase III of their operation, as well as an online summary report to bring the main highlights to as wide an audience as possible.
We created an attractive design for the online report that guides readers through each section, and developed interactive graphics to help showcase the main points from the report. “Your team was great as always,” said the client. “It's always a pleasure to work with Green Ink.”
