Capacity building

We can offer the following kinds of support in developing the skills and knowledge of your communications staff:

Process education
Many of our clients lack an understanding of the production process, for both printed and electronic products. To meet this need we can organize one-on-one training or a workshop, either at a distance or face-to-face.  

Skills development
This takes two forms:

• Mentoring: we offer bespoke distance training or visits for individual communications professionals, including science writers, editors, graphic designers, journalists and press officers.
• Group training: we can organize tailored workshops to develop skills in such areas as media outreach, science writing and editing, graphic design and website development.
